Film music for me is all about character development and the evolution of theme to help the viewer feel completely immersed in the experience, becoming part of the on screen journey. Specialising in minimalist and acoustic compositions, I make music that aims to enhance the emotional connection between picture and viewer.

Composing for TV can be quite different to film for a number of reasons including pacing, density of plot or simply budget constraints, but it also offers up new opportunities over the course of a series. Many of the same thematic techniques can be easily translated from film composing to the small screen adding meaning and drama where needed.

My favourite games have always been those with soundtracks that are world building, immersive, and most of all memorable. This can be achieved by including dynamic musical components like additive layering that morphs seamlessly alongside the characters and scenery as the gameplay develops. Becoming one with the narrative is the goal here, and flexibility in the arrangements is the key to achieving this.
In the domain of media, music on its own is only half the picture. Below you will find some samples of some of my work to image.
